What is it?
Welcome! We offer private rooms with shared bathrooms and kitchens on a month to month basis. Some rooms have private bathrooms, check with us for availability and rates. There are no leases and no ongoing contracts. All payments are made per calendar month.
How can I book?
We offer reservations after a physical inspection of the property and an application process. To book an inspection, email us any time at lanewaylodgereception@gmail.com with your full name, contact number and a rough time and day you're available. We'll get back to you as soon as we can!
Is there a bond?
We don't have leases, so there is no "bond", but we take key and cleaning deposits at check in. The key deposit is $350 per person. Cleaning deposits start from $200 and increase based on the room type. These deposits are refundable when you check out, provided the keys are returned and the room is cleaning according to the criteria.
Please note all deposit refunds are by card only. We cannot refund deposits in cash.
What's involved in the application process?
After your inspection, we'll email you an application form. Just complete the form and email it back to us. You should expect an answer within 3 business days.
Am I guaranteed a room?
Unfortunately we don't always have rooms available, and sometimes the room you see might be reserved before we look at your application.
How far ahead should I inspect the rooms?
Rooms fill quite quickly as they become available, and we don't always have rooms to inspect far in advance. It's best to contact us 1-2 weeks before you'd like to move.
Do you have heating and air conditioning?
Heating - Yes
Air Conditioning - No
What can I put in my room?
Just about anything! Keep in mind that everything in your room when you move in must stay in the room - for example, we can't remove the bed for you to bring one! Please note that cooking in rooms isn't allowed because of the fire risk, so it's best not to have any cooking appliances in your room unless it's for storage.
Are all the bills included?
Yes! Gas, electricity, water and internet are all included in the room price.
Do you have a laundry?
We have coin operated laundry facilities.
Are the kitchens fully equipped with everything I need to cook?
The kitchens are equipped with stoves, ovens, microwaves, kettles and toasters
All cooking utensils, pots, pans, plates etc. are not provided
Can I store my bike/ebike?
We have a designated storage area for bicycles on the ground floor. Guests can store one bike per person, which must be correctly labelled. Please note that our main entrance has steps and it is not possible to enter the building without going up them! We do not accept any responsibility for loss or damages.
